Summer
June: Tuesday 1st, Saturday 4th, Tuesday 14th
June: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th we are at Nigel Haworth’s Fantastic Food Show
July: Saturday 16th, Tuesday 19th, Tuesday 26th
August: Tuesday 2nd, Saturday 6th, Tuesday 9th, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th takes Food Hero Tours into the Clitheroe Food Festival Weekend where some of our producers will be participating on stands and events, Tuesday 16th
The Summer brings warm sunshine (hopefully!), haymaking, crop harvesting, food festivals, local agricultural shows, bees and honey making, apples and cider making, the licking of local ice creams, berries in the bushes, foraging for mushrooms and an abundance of gorgeous summer flowers in the meadows. August sees the glorious 12th break cover across our colourful moors. Take in the scents and flavours of the area during the food tours over the Summer.
Autumn
September: Tuesday 6th, Saturday 10th, Tuesday 20th
The beginning of Autumn heralds a riot of glorious colour in Bowland, purple heather clashes with the yellows and reds and evergreens of the trees. The last of the agricultural shows takes place and it is the start of the game season proper.
As the last of the food tours takes in the flavours of the harvest it also heralds the start of my Artisan Food Workshops such as food smoking, chocolate work, foraging for funghi, game dressing and cooking and several others! More info on these coming soon!
